The Brand Affinity Report provides you with a list of brands that are popular with and loved by an audience. This easy-to-generate, powerful report helps you create a fuller picture of what people in your audience are like. Looking at these insights, you'll be able to answer questions about your audience such as, "What apparel brands do they wear and do they like Adidas better than Nike?" or "When traveling, at which hotels do they stay?"
What is this report? The Brand Affinity Report shows for which retail, apparel, auto, restaurant, hotel, and airline brands your audience has an affection or fondness.
How to use it? Use the insights in this report to inform your market research on an audience, customer segmentation and creative and messaging for advertising. With these insights, you can identify potential partners for marketing, and learn even more about where to find your audience, both online and offline. You don’t necessarily have to be in the Retail industry to find this report useful! People’s affinities for particular brands express who they are and what names they trust and value.
You will find this curated report under the Reports tab when viewing an analysis.
It offers six components:
- Top Retailers
- Top Apparel Retailers
- Top Auto Brands Currently Owned
- Top Hotels Tried
- Top Airlines Tried
- Top Restaurants Visited
You will notice that the default minimum composition changes by report component. For instance, it is 20% for Top Retailers and 5% for Top Hotels Tried. Our team determined these metrics for each component in a way to ensure that the data you see is both significant and unique to the audience.
Export
To export - click the download icon at the top right of the page. A png per audience in your analysis will be exported, as well as a Glossary that helps further explain the data and metrics used in the report. These exports are designed to be shared, are "presentation-friendly," great for new business pitches, sharing insights with your colleagues, or reports to your boss to make you look good.
Share
You can easily share a png of the report by clicking the share icon at the top right of the report.
Glossary
For more information on the data and metrics used in the report, click the i icon at the top of the report to view the Report Glossary. The glossary will be exported when you choose to export this report.
Arrow Buttons
On the top right of the report are arrow buttons. Click them to flip to the next report that's in the Report sub-nav. You can also use the arrow keys on your keyboard - perhaps our favorite feature yet! Especially as we add more reports, this will make it even easier to tell a story with your data.
