Changes to our Audience Metrics are now live in your Ignite account. We are taking the opportunity to modify some of the labels associated with Audience Metrics to clarify their meaning and incorporate feedback from our clients.
What’s Changing:
The Audience Metrics labels in the Ignite platform will change as follows:
“Addressable” will be renamed to “Estimated Targetable IDs”.
“Uniques” will be replaced with “Matched IDs” and “Reach” will be removed to avoid confusion with metrics more commonly associated with activation platforms.
For Tags, “Total” will become “Total Events”.
There is no change to Projected Adult Population.
Definitions:
Estimated Targetable IDs: the estimated available number of IDs within Resonate’s ID Graph that can be activated for an audience
Matched IDs for Tags: the number of IDs matched to Resonate's ID graph from your tag hits seen from the time you placed the tag going forward (up to two years)
Matched IDs for Engaged Audiences and Flash Models: the total number of IDs that represent your audience for insights
Total Events is number of audience events/hits on the tag over the past 2 years or from when the tag was placed.
Client Impact:
Since you will see these label changes for Audience Metrics (ex. “Addressable” becomes “Estimated Targetable,”), you’ll want to assess any exports, collateral or presentations that you have that utilize Resonate Audiences that will need the appropriate changes.
