We will use the Resonate company site to provide an example of determining a track method strategy. Remember the goal is to track the sections and pages of your site, as well as user event actions, that will provide the best insights in the Resonate platform.
Resonate Site Example
You will need to determine if it is important to track all or specific Tier1 sections in a website. This will allow capture of the overall activity on those sections. We recommend if you are tracking Tier2 sites under a particular Tier1 section, then you should track the Tier1 section as well.
- For example: track all the following Tier1 categories - Platform, Solutions, Markets, Resources, About, and Post Cookie.
After which, you may then determine which Tier2 sections are important for your company to gain further insights.
- For example: track all Tier 2 pages under Platform- Ignite Platform, Our Data, Connected Profiles, U.S. Consumer Study; track all Tier 2 pages under Markets.
There are also User Event Actions to consider such as button clicks and Add to Cart Items that you may wish to track as well.
- For example, track the following Resonate user actions: User Login and Request for Demo.
