Updated 2026 Congressional Districts Now Available
Several states are in the process of completing their Congressional Redistricting. As such, we have added the 2026 Congressional Redistricting for seven states in the Resonate Ignite Platform to ensure you always have access to the most current and relevant data.
The seven states are:
California
Missouri
North Carolina
Ohio
Texas
Utah
Virginia
These districts are currently labeled as ‘Redistricted 2026 (current as of April 2026)’ in the platform, reflecting that the redistricting process is still ongoing and lines may be subject to change before the 2026 elections.
Each of these seven states will have up to two attributes per district, representing the previous boundaries and the new 2026 lines. This means any existing audiences, analyses, and audience deliveries using attributes from these seven states will continue to work as they do today.
For example: CA has 52 Congressional Districts. You will see up to two attributes per district:
CA–1 – Redistricted 2022
CA–1 – Redistricted 2026 (current as of April 2026)
FAQs
Q: Why are we keeping the prior redistricted attributes?
A: Some states have significantly redrawn their district lines. Rather than replacing the existing districts, we are introducing the 2026 districts alongside the 2024 or 2022 versions. This allows you to compare how your audiences may have shifted across redistricting cycles and determine how best to update your audiences and audience deliveries to reflect the geographic area you want to analyze. It also enables you to advise your clients on district changes and adjust messaging or media plans accordingly.
Q: Are any states adding or removing districts?
A: No. None of the seven states are adding or removing districts, only redrawing Congressional District lines.
Resonate Congressional District Data
As a reminder, Resonate's Geography Data is updated nightly based on observed location data and enables you to use State, DMA and Congressional District level data as both attributes and insights. Use attributes to build and analyze an audience of people located in a specific Congressional District, or view as insights against any audience to help determine where you should focus your targeting.
