Our January 2022 release brings many enhancements that will improve your experience on the Ignite platform with improved sorting, updated Resonate numbers, and important bug fixes.
Here’s a summary of what’s new:
- Improved sort selection across different analysis views
- Unsaved audience confirmation notification
- Updated Resonate numbers
- Bug fixes for exported audience insights, load time improvements, platform element sizing and more
New Features
Improved Sort Selection
When analyzing your audiences in Intelligence Center, sorting allows you to customize the analysis to show insights that are listed in an order based on metrics like insight group, index, or composition. Previously, when switching your analysis between the different analytics visualizations (bar chart, card view, table view), the sort selection you chose would reset to the default order. This meant that you had to re-sort your selection every time your view changed. Frustrating to say the least!
With this latest update, your sort selection will now persist as you move your analysis between the Bar Chart, Card, and Table views. Scatter plot is not affected since it does not have these types of sort functions.
This means that if you sort your audience insights by composition high to low while viewing the Bar Chart analysis and want to see that same list in a Card view, this view will also have insights sorted by composition high to low instead of resetting to the default index order.
Save Audiences Notification
When analyzing an unsaved audience in the Intelligence Center, clicking the “x” to remove an audience immediately removes it from the audience list. This sometimes caused our users to close out of unsaved audiences by accident with no way to recover and save them for later analysis.
With this update, after clicking on “x” to remove an unsaved audience in an analysis, a window will appear asking if you want to save or remove the audience. This will help to mitigate accidental removals and make sure that all desired audiences are saved.
Resonate Numbers Updated
Resonate is always expanding our taxonomy of attributes for users to get the deepest insight on their audiences. We’ve updated our numbers on the Ignite Dashboard to reflect our newest expansion. Previously, the dashboard count read that our taxonomy provided 13K+ Resonate Elements and 500+ Contextual Attributes to choose from. With this update, the dashboard will reflect our most up-to-date count of 14K+ Resonate Elements and 600+ Contextual Attributes to match the count of those data types and to match numbers used in our sales and marketing materials.
Bug Fixes
Load Time Improvements
When scrolling to the bottom of the attribute list in the Segmentation Center, previously it may have been the case that the rest of the list didn’t load or seemed to load very slowly. This was due to the loading dots animation existing outside of the “next page” request area, causing the user to wait indefinitely for the list to load. This issue has been corrected, and now the rest of the attributes in the list will load as soon as you hit the bottom.
Unanalyzable Audiences
Some audiences in our platform were becoming unanalyzable after you edited the audience and reordered the attributes in the audience definition. This may have caused a valid, analyzable audience to be grayed out in the Intelligence Center when trying to produce insights. This error has been corrected and reordering attributes while editing audiences will no longer produce this outcome.
Insights Card Resizing
Previously, when looking at the Card View in the Intelligence Center, if you resized your browser window to be larger or smaller, the cards would also becoming shorter and longer. This has been corrected, and now all cards will remain the same size as you resize your browser window.
Missing Pinned Insights on Export
In the Intelligence Center, pinned insights were not being shown when you exported an image or PDF of the Card View or Bar Chart in your analysis. This would happen when the insight didn’t meet set filters for index or composition, but it is supposed to appear in your exported file despite this. With this update, the issue has been resolved and pinned insights will be shown in the exported file even when filters aren’t met.
Pinned Insights Not Sorted Correctly on Export
When exporting a Bar Chart analysis PDF, insights that were pinned to the top in the Intelligence Center were not positioned at the top of the PDF file. This has been corrected so that insights that are pinned to the top of the list on the platform will also appear on the top of the PDF file.
Title in Segmentation Center Not Updating
When visiting a tag while building an audience in the Segmentation Center and then visiting another attribute category, the title in the middle panel was not changing from “Tags” to the new attribute category title. This has been corrected so that when you visit a tag followed by a different attribute category, the title of the latter appears in the middle panel to accurately indicate the attributes you are currently viewing.
Horizontal Scroll Bar in Intelligence Center
Previously in the Intelligence Center, a horizontal scroll bar appeared at the bottom of the page. This led users to believe there is more to see to the right or left of the page, but this is not the case as everything on the platform fits in a normal sized browser window. This has been corrected so that no horizontal bar will appear at the bottom of the page in the Intelligence Center.
