Resonate is committed to continuously improving our data attribute management system to provide you with the highest quality insights and support robust data governance and regulatory compliance. As part of this commitment, we are implementing several enhancements to our Enrichment Catalog in the upcoming Wave 2501 release, effective May 2025.
Key Enhancements
Attribute Aggregation:
Ordinal Scale Consolidation: Five-point scales will be simplified into three categories - Disagree (Bottom 2 Box: 1–2), Neutral (3), and Agree (Top 2 Box: 4–5). This consolidation enhances usability, consistency, and interpretability for both activation and analysis.
Deprecation of Original Scales: Following this consolidation, the original 5-point scale attributes will be deprecated. A list of proxies has been provided to assist with the transition to the new aggregated responses.
Removal of Non-Actionable Responses:
Responses that do not provide actionable insights, such as "None of the above," "Don’t know / Not sure," "Not applicable," and "Prefer not to answer," will be removed. This refinement improves data quality, simplifies modeling, and removes non-useful attributes, freeing up space in CRM files.
Standardization:
To ensure the media data is clear, complete, and contextually consistent, isolated or partial time-based attributes (e.g., select dayparts or media usage hours) will be removed.
Redundancy Removal in Decision-Maker Segments:
Purchase decision maker segments currently exist in both the Consumer Preferences and Curated Segments clusters. To eliminate redundancy, we will deprecate these segments from Curated Segments and guide clients to use the equivalent attributes in Consumer Preferences.
Benefits:
Enhanced Usability and Accuracy:
Streamlining attributes and reformatting data improves clarity, consistency, and ease of interpretation, enabling you to extract insights more effectively.
Improved Data-Driven Decision-Making:
Focusing on actionable data ensures you can make more accurate, informed decisions, driving greater value from our offerings.
Operational Efficiency:
Reducing data points enhances system performance, allowing for more efficient data processing and analysis.
These enhancements are designed to strengthen product stability and data integrity, ensuring improvements in data quality without reducing available attributes. By refining attribute organization and eliminating non-informative responses, these updates enhance model performance, provide a stronger signal for analysis, and deliver more powerful, actionable data for strategic decision-making.
