Resonate appends our primary research survey responses with offline purchase data and other 3rd party data in order to enrich our data. This matching uses verified Personally Identifiable Information (PII) by contracted panels and data partners. Resonate never observes, stores, nor sells this PII.
Because these attributes are appended to our survey respondents, you will see our appended 3rd party data in our taxonomy co-mingled among the Resonate Elements. For example, here's appended 3rd party data for Children's Products - found in Home & Family - Home & Family - Children's Purchases - Children's Products.
Use these attributes to create and analyze an audience of people buying baby care products, or back-to-school items, etc. Learn more about using 3rd party data in the Resonate Ignite Platform.
Use the appended 3rd party data in our platform in the following ways.
The 3rd party data appended to survey panelists can be used in the Segmentation Center when creating an audience and can be combined with Resonate Elements.
An audience built with Appended 3rd party data can be analyzed via all the visualizations and reports available in the Analyze Tab.
You can also use 3rd party data as an insight if the audience contains Resonate Elements. Any audiences that contain other data types that are not Resonate Elements (such as a tag or onboarded data) can not be analyzed with 3rd party data – this is because we do not model 3rd party data.
You cannot activate an audience that contains a 3rd party data attribute.
