To set up a LiveRamp to Meta (Facebook) connection, work with your Customer Success contact to follow these steps:
- Resonate uses the LiveRamp “[Record Sync] Facebook (US) Direct Onboarding” connection. To set this up, please provide your Ad Account ID. This is the numeric Meta (Facebook) ad account ID where your segments should be sent.
- Within this connection, Resonate can set up a Client Name and Package name that will be prepended to the audience name from the Resonate platform. Resonate recommends keeping these short and abbreviated so that the audience name isn’t overly long within Meta (Facebook). The full format of the audience name will be: "LR_US_Direct_<Client Name>_<Package Name>_<Audience Name>" Please let us know your preferred Client Name and Package Name for this connection.
-
Set up LiveRamp approval in Meta (Facebook) by following these steps: https://docs.liveramp.com/connect/en/adding-liveramp-as-a-partner-in-facebook.html#adding-liveramp-as-a-partner-213-19483 Resonate distributes segments through LiveRamp's Direct Integration, so you’ll need to slide the “Manage campaigns” toggle to the right to enable LiveRamp to create Custom Audiences
- Be sure to check that you avoid these common set up errors:
- Not completing the steps to add LiveRamp as a partner
- Giving "view performance" permissions instead of "manage campaigns" (step 6)
- Not completing FB's terms of service (step 8)
- Be sure to check that you avoid these common set up errors:
Once you provide these details and set up the LiveRamp approval within Meta (Facebook), your Resonate CSM will be able to set up the LiveRamp connection on the Resonate side.
Once this connection is live, you’ll be able to push your preferred audiences using the "LiveRamp – Other: Facebook [Client Name]” selection within the Engagement Center. The data will update weekly with the latest IDs associated with these audiences until it reaches the selected campaign end date.
