When building an audience, if you see a Threshold Reached notification like the one below, that means that you have exceeded our threshold for the number of tag-based attributes within an audience. You are still able to save the audience, but you will not be able to analyze it. Metrics and insights will be disabled if the audience has over 71 tag-based attributes. To analyze this audience, remove some tag-based attributes until the Threshold Reached notification changes to a Metrics on Hold message.
Tag-based attributes are as follows:
-
Tags (including parent and baby tags)
-
Engaged Audiences (both standard and custom)
-
Flash
A Metrics on Hold notification like the one below alerts you that you have exceeded our attribute threshold for viewing audience sizing metrics within the Segmentation Center.
This notification will continue to show unless there are 20 or less survey and/or Connected Profile attributes in your audience definition. This threshold does not affect your ability to create the audience or add additional attributes to your audience. Once you’ve exceeded the attribute threshold, the audience size metrics are still available for the audience but are only viewable within the Intelligence Center. This allows you to continue to build complex audiences using many attributes without delaying any speed to insights.
If you receive the Metrics on Hold notification, simply continue building your audience and then add your audience to the Intelligence Center in order to view the audience size metrics.
