Advanced Segmentation for Direct Data Onboarding

If you have customers who fall into one or more segments, there is a way to format your onboarding file that will allow you to have one record per person. You may add more than one group=segment (key=value) pair by separating them with a pipe (|). By adding a pipe in between each of your pairs, you are able to add one customer to multiple groups/segments. For example:

• The pipe (|) delimiter will work in both the ‘Add’ and ‘Remove’ columns
• There are not any limits to the number of characters in those columns
• 2,000 unique group=segment (key=value pairs) are allowed in one file
