Adding Resonate to your Adobe Audience Manager ID Swap Container
Overview
To enhance match rates with Adobe Audience Manager, Resonate highly recommends enabling a local user ID swap. This has the benefit of actively matching all of your web traffic to the Resonate ID space. The Adobe Audience Manager local ID swap should be enabled as early as possible to give the service enough time to capture the majority of your user base.
Resonate maintains an ongoing user sync with Adobe Audience Manager to enhance audience overlap and support a favorable match rate when delivering or receiving segments. Our user sync service provides an acceptable level of overlap but customers can enhance their match rates through a simple local user sync process. Adobe does not offer partners like Resonate access to a global user ID swap service so additional efforts to enhance overlap are highly recommended.
Adobe makes a localized user synchronization service with Resonate available through a simple Adobe Audience Manager container. Customers must request that their Adobe Account Manager include a Resonate ID swap in their user sync container. Once your Adobe Account Manager has enabled Resonate in your container, you must ensure that the Adobe ID swap container is active on every page where you have the Adobe Audience Manager code. Upon doing so, every page view will initiate a Resonate to Adobe ID swap automatically.
Next Steps
Contact your Adobe Audience Manager Account Manager and request that Resonate user sync be enabled as a container in your instance. This will enable a Resonate user sync on all properties tagged with the Adobe Audience Manager code.
