Summary
Just like other Data Management Platforms and Third-Party Data Exchanges, Resonate operates on a monthly, self-reported impression tracking model. If you purchase activation impressions with Resonate, you will be responsible for reporting the ad impressions that you deliver against a Resonate audience, or audiences, on a monthly basis.
How It Works
- As a client, you will nominate a Reporting Manager on your team that will aggregate all impressions delivered against a Resonate audience across your internal activation platforms on a monthly basis. Please note, if your audience includes data that incurs a special CPM, please indicate that in the audience name field. Please provide us with the name, title, and email address for this person.
- On the 10th of each month, or the next business day, our Accounting Team will reach out to the designated Reporting Manager to collect impression usage for the previous month. Our Accounting Team will supply you with a spreadsheet to collect this information. We will need the audience name that was targeted, along with the impressions delivered against that audience in that given month. The completed report is due by the 15th of the month, or the next business day.
- Once we receive your completed usage report, we will document the data internally. If at any point during your contract you exceed your contracted allotment of activation impressions, you will be invoiced for the overage at your contracted CPM.
Reporting FAQs
Q. If I activated a non-Resonate audience and used Resonate data to exclude IDs from that audience, do I still need to report impressions to Resonate?
A: Yes! You will still be charged for using Resonate data in your audience and will need to report impressions for that audience.
Q: If I activated an audience that leverages Resonate data but then use a second Resonate audience to exclude data from my original, how do I report impressions and what CPM would I pay?
A: In this example, we would consider the 2 audiences a boolean logic so you will only need to report impressions once and we will charge the higher CPM amongst the audiences.
