Intelligence Center Enhancements
More robust Index & Composition settings
We’re excited to share enhancements to the Intelligence Center that will allow you to analyze and compare audiences more effectively.
You’re already familiar with adjusting your Index and Composition settings when creating an analysis in the Intelligence Center. As shown below, you were able to change your settings by either adjusting the sliders or by typing in a specific Index or Composition value into the text box.
With our latest updates, you will still be able to adjust the settings by a slider or by entering values, but now you’ll see 4 filtering options:
1. Minimum of (default) – Set a minimum value to view insights greater than the number you choose. This was previously the only option, so this will be the setting you’re most familiar with.
2. Maximum of – Set a maximum value to view insights less than the number you choose.
3. In Between – Set an upper and low number to view insights that fall in between those values.
4. Outside of – Set an upper and low number to view insights that fall outside of those values.
These 4 new filter options allow you to focus on the insights that matter most to you. For example, as a guideline we look for attributes with an index of 80 and below or 120 and above to identify what is or isn’t important or distinctive about the audience. Using the “Outside of” filter for Index would allow you to focus on the insights that fall outside of the 80/120 range.
Reduced confusion around audiences that don’t meet settings
Previously when an audience didn’t meet an Index or Composition setting, that insight would not appear in your analysis. In the Bar Chart example below, you can see that audiences Moms Who Shop at Walmart and Parents both didn’t meet the index number set for the first four insights listed.
In the Card View, if your audience didn’t meet the threshold the previous design displayed an error message and did not include Index or Composition as a reference.
We have changed the way you can view insights that don’t meet your settings. We realize that even if an insight for an audience is outside of the thresholds you set, it is still helpful to view those audiences in your analysis for context and comparison.
Now these audiences will still appear in the Card View and Bar Chart reports and will be visually represented with muted colors so that it is clear they do not meet your settings. When you hover over a muted insight, you will see a message as a reminder as to why the insights appear muted for that audience. This will be a helpful reminder if you return to the analysis or have other users accessing your analysis. Our goal with these enhancements is to allow you to quickly and easily view audience insights that don’t meet your thresholds without disregarding them altogether.
Managing Audience Deliveries
Audience Delivery Status Auto-Updates
If an audience falls into an error state because it contains inactive attributes, if you fix the audience definition successfully you will now see the status of the audience delivery automatically update to pending.
Enhancements & Bug Fixes
Shopping Icons: In Wave 2103 of our National Consumer Study, we added 17 Shopping and Retail centric Curated Segments. These insights now have accompanying icons in the platform to help visualize the different insights and to make your reports and exports look fresh.
Verizon Media is now Yahoo: We have updated the Verizon Media logo in the Engagement Center to Yahoo. You will see the text “formerly Verizon Media/Oath” on the tile to make this update clear.
Demographics Report - Marital Status update: We’ve also made an update to the Marital Status section in our Demographic Report. The “Other” category represents widowed, so to make this clear we’ve renamed the category “Widow/Widower.” This will make Martial Status consistent across all reports, with the four categories being Single, Married, Divorced, and Widow/Widower.
Export list of users via admin: If you are a client admin, you are now able to download a .csv list of all users for your account from the Admin Panel. Access the Admin Panel by selecting the avatar icon in your top navigation. From the Users tab, click export users.
