What are Standard Contextual Studies?
Standard Contextual Studies helps you gain a quick, real-time understanding of who is reading and engaging with your business topics and keywords online. You can use this data to understand these consumers with our 14K+ Resonate Elements to develop more relevant content and messaging and activate at scale.
How Does It Work?
Resonate observes 30,000 topics through our behavioral data stream that helps inform our predictive models. We've extracted 600+ Standard Contextual Studies - which are topics that people are consuming online - from this data feed using our Natural Language Processing (NLP) tool. Then, we leveraged the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) taxonomy to curate our Standard Contextual Studies in the platform.
This Contextual Data spans 26 categories, is refreshed weekly, and includes the past 31 days of browsing behavior. Contextual Studies provides an additional 600+ attributes in the taxonomy from Day 1, allowing you to build more custom and precise audiences.
How do I recognize Standard Contextual Data in the platform?
Standard contextual data is available as a self-serve feature in the Audience Building taxonomy. You can recognize when an attribute value comes from Contextual Data in a variety of different ways:
