Summary
With our March 6th, 2020 release, we've made two updates throughout the application where we show lists of audiences to improve platform speed and to show you more helpful information. The first update is when the audience size is refreshed, and the second is showing more helpful data when you see lists of audiences in the platform.
1. Audience Size Refresh
To help with platform performance, instead of updating the audience size (the projected adult population size and addressable numbers) on-demand as the page load, the audience size will now be reflective of the last time the audience was saved, manually refreshed or analyzed. We did this to improve the speed on the page and in the application overall, and did so in a way to continue to provide important information to you.
You will be able to refresh the audience size on-demand using the ‘refresh’ link which is shown alongside the last date and time the audience size was refreshed. Note that clicking the refresh link more than once every 24 hours will not provide any ‘new’ information as the data is cached daily.
You will see the refresh link to update the Audience Size in 3 locations:
- The Your Saved Audiences page (shown above)
- The list of saved audiences in Intelligence Center
3. The list of saved audiences in Collections
** Note that Tags metrics are not impacted by the Audience Size Refresh details.
2. Showing more helpful data on Audience Lists
We've introduced 3 new columns with helpful data when we show a list of your saved audiences.
- ‘Modified Date’ column – the modified date is the way audiences are displayed (newest on top) and now this is reflected as a column to give you that extra layer of information. This was information was previously shown behind the "view details" option on the Your Saved Audiences page.
- ‘Deliveries’ column - we've updated the placement of this information to be a bit cleaner.
- ‘Contains’ column - this is new and shows you what type of data is included in the audience. Data types include Resonate Elements, tag data, first-party data, geo data, and behavioral data.
This update will occur in 2 places:
- The Your Saved Audiences page (shown above)
- The list of saved audiences in Intelligence Center
