On April 4th 2019, we released Survey Wave 1901 into the platform, which focused on Travel and Non-Alcoholic Beverages. With this release, we will inactivate all Kahle Personal Values.
Wave 1901 was in field January 8, 2019 til January 24, 2019.
As always, please note that models to show insights against Tag audiences take a day or two to populate after the release, so you may not see insights for these newly asked attributes against your Tag audiences right away.
Re-organized Taxonomy
With this release, we're taking the opportunity to re-organize the Resonate Elements taxonomy a bit. Can you believe that at the start of 2018 we had 7,000 attributes, and now we have over 12,000! We've grown a lot! With this growth, we feel some attributes deserve their own top level category in our taxonomy so they're easier to find when navigating. So we're re-organizing the taxonomy and going from 14 top level categories to 16.
This change only affects you if you routinely find your favorite Resonate attributes by navigating the taxonomy. Search will continue to work and will be aware of the new locations of each attribute. Your saved audiences will also continue to work, and the breadcrumb path of attributes in saved audiences will simply update with their new locations.
Here's what's changing and not changing:
Taxonomy Changes
- Demographics - Smoking will no longer live under Demographics and will move to a new category - Alcohol & Tobacco.
- Consumer Preferences - Past & Future Purchases move to Retail
- Consumer Products - is being removed and will be broken into three categories:
- 1. Home & Family
- 2. Food & Non-Alcoholic Beverages
- 3. Alcohol & Tobacco
- Sharing Economy attributes will be moved out of Consumer Products and into Consumer Preferences.
- Retail - Apparel will be separated out into its own category next to Retail.
- Travel is changing in name only to Travel & Hospitality.
- Politics & Advocacy and Issues & Policies will be combined into Politics & Advocacy.
