Updated Analytics Experience
We revised the way you build your Analyses in Resonate into a more intuitive and seamless experience.
After running an Analysis, when you switch over to the Analytics tab, you will find your Analysis at an empty state. Previously, you would have seen insights auto-generated from the Summary collection filter. We are retiring Summary collections and giving you the power to select insights that are relevant to you, right from the beginning.
In this empty state, the platform will prompt you to either search for insights, or click the Select Insights button to open the Taxonomy to add insights to your Analysis.
Once you have selected insights, your Analysis will populate them into the familiar visualizations.
Combined Search and Selected Insights
As part of our effort to update the Analytics experience, we combined the insights you selected from the Taxonomy and insights for which you searched on the Analytics page. The search results will no longer override insights selected from the Taxonomy. You can add insights to you Analysis either way and both will be applied to your Analysis.
Resonate displays your selected insights between the search box and the Select Insights button, right above your Analysis.
Removing the insights applied to your Analysis is very simple! Just click on the x icon by their names and your Analysis will immediately update.
Note that we will no longer refer to applied insights as "filters" and the button in the top right corner has been renamed to "Select Insights."
Activate Survey + Tag Audiences
We are so excited to make this frequently requested enhancement available to you! You can now activate audiences that are a combination Survey and Tag audiences. So not only can you gain a deeper understanding of people who visited your tagged properties, you can now engage with them too!
For example, previously you could create an audience of Millennials (Survey data) who visited your Purchase Page (Tag data) and analyze it, using Resonate's insights. This allowed you to develop a more targeted and personalized messaging and creative strategy. With cross-data type activation, you can take action and actually deliver your enhanced messaging to your audiences of Millennials who visited your Purchase page.
