We recommend using Resonate's Dynamic Site Tag, powered by JavaScript, to our enterprise clients who are looking to track large websites. If you have a smaller website, or email or video ads where JavaScript is not supported, or single page properties, we recommend using a Custom Tag, which is a 1x1 image pixel.
It's important to first learn about our strategy and best practices recommendations for our Dynamic Site Tag, and then how to create and traffic a Dynamic Site Tag.
From the Dasbhoard, click the + sign at the top of the page, then choose to create a Tag.
Give your tag a name, and optionally a description. From the Tracker Type drop-down, choose Site.
Click on Associated Campaign to assign a tag to a campaign. This will present a list of campaigns associated with your account. You must select a campaign. If you do not have a campaign, alert your Resonate Client Partner Manager.
Next, learn how to deploy or traffic your Dynamic Site Tag.
