Resonate enables clients unmatched speed to predictive insight with its simple workflow. The end-to-end process involves 5 steps.
1. Predictive Model Scoping
Resonate will work with clients to scope Predictive Modeling projects. Clients should be prepared with:
- Sourcing and preparing a HEM (Hashed Emails) file that contains multiple CRM attributes
- Determine the number of records in your file. Clients must provide at least 6,400 records.
- Select either Churn or Next Best Customer depending on the specific use case.
- Choose a file refresh or update cadence for the subscription term. We recommend at least monthly refreshes.
Inform Resonate about your preferred AWS S3 bucket type from the following options:
- Direct Bucket
- IAM role/user ARN
- IAM key (Resonate issues credentials)
- IAM Role Assumption
- IAM role/user ARN
- Optional external ID
2. File Delivery
- Establish the S3 location with Resonate
- Format the file and perform any requisite data quality checks
- Upload file at the agreed location
- Resonate will provide you with options available for you to send us your input data. Our preferred method is accepting your data via AWS S3.
- For AWS use File Formatting instructions to prepare your file and send it to us.
3. ID Matching
- Resonate matches your IDs directly to Resonate IDs.
- The match rate is generally between 40%-60%. Matching depends on the quality and recency of the IDs provided.
4. Modeling and Results
- Within 5 days of receipt of a clean file, Resonate will provide:
- Match and Composition reports.
- Report on the number of IDs matched
- How many IDs are contained in each decile
- For Next Best Customer clients, the composition report will also provide the number of IDs that are like the matched 1st party data. This look-alike step enables clients to target consumers that look like their best customers at scale using the Resonate Ignite platform or direct to your DSPs for activation.
- Scored Prediction report.
- For every matched ID a probability score will be appended to the file. The report will also indicate which decile the specific ID is attributed.
- A document detailing the model results and feature importance scores.
- Provides details on the model metrics, CRM attributes that contributed to the predictions.
- Review this document with Resonate to create an Activation strategy.
- Match and Composition reports.
5. Activation
Audience deciles can be selected for Activation:
- Select which deciles or combination of deciles are needed
- Ignite users will find the audiences in their account under Custom Data
- Non-Ignite subscribers can request the audiences to be pushed to the activation endpoint of their choosing. An internal Resonate team will create an Ignite account and push the Audience IDs to your activation seat.
